MINSK, 10 October (BelTA) – Spain is seriously interested in the Belarusian fertilizers Nanoplant, BelTA learned from Chairman of the State Science and Technology Committee of Belarus Alexander Shumilin on 10 October.
Nanoplant has been developed by the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus. A small bottle will be enough for a large area. Instead of the synthetized formula the product relies on natural extracts, which can greatly improve the growth of crops, their protection, thus increasing the economic effectiveness of agriculture, said the official. Small batches of the fertilizer are now produced. The product was presented at an expo in Spain in 2017. The Spanish were seriously interested in it.
The fertilizer’s author — one of the institutes of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus — will be presented during the Central European Initiative ministerial conference on science and technologies Biotechnology for Healthy and Active Life in the CEI Region on 26 October. Speaking about the development of biotechnologies in Belarus, the official noted that this market is actively developing, including in agriculture. “Those are new important avenues, ways to make animals more productive, ways to protect them from various diseases. The technology also produces new types of fertilizers,” he added.
