MINSK, 11 November (BelTA) – Around 500 businessmen will take part in the Belarusian-Turkish business forum, Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI) Vladimir Ulakhovich told reporters ahead of the opening of the forum on 11 November, BelTA has learned.
“This is one of the largest forums. It will bring together some 500 participants from Belarus and Turkey. Around 200 representatives of the Turkish business elite have come to Belarus to take part in the event. They represent all the sectors of the Turkish economy,” Vladimir Ulakhovich noted.
Belarus and Turkey cooperate in different fields. “We sell to Turkey machine-building products, petrochemical products, metal structures and other goods. Now we stress that it is necessary to find new areas for cooperation,” Vladimir Ulakhovich emphasized.
He added that the hall where the forum will take place currently hosts an exhibition of some 150 Belarusian innovative projects, including space projects. “In this way we show our Turkish partners the areas that we can work on,” Vladimir Ulakhovich said.
