BAKU, 15 May (BelTA) - The share of Belarusian tractors in the Azerbaijani market has reached 80%, Vitaly Vovk, Director General of the Belarusian tractor engineering company MTZ, told the media on the sidelines of Caspian Agro in Baku, Azerbaijan,BelTA has learned.
"In 2022-2023, we lost momentum, with our share sinking to 60% [the share of Belarusian tractors in the Azerbaijani market]. Now we are recapturing our standing on the market and are approaching 80%. This is thanks to joint work with Ganja Automobile Plant. We have been cooperating with it since 2007, and today about 15,000 units of our equipment are assembled at the Ganja plant in the Azerbaijani market. In general, we have reached the pace of 700-800 tractors per year, but we aim for a thousand in the near future," Vitaly Vovk said.
