Several Belarusian coronavirus test kits undergoing clinical trials

MINSK, 3 April (BelTA) – Several Belarus-made coronavirus test kits are undergoing clinical trials, Belarus’ Deputy Healthcare Minister Yelena Bogdan told reporters on 3 April, BelTA has learned.

As of 8:00 on 3 April there were 10,640 test kits to diagnose coronavirus in Belarus. Another 10,000 test kits will be delivered one of these days. More than that, three test kits made in Belarus and one rapid test kit are undergoing clinical trials now.

“We have enough tests to keep the situation under control,” Yelena Bogdan said.

“We are closely monitoring the situation over the coronavirus and acute respiratory diseases and pneumonia,” the deputy minister noted.
