MINSK, 28 January (BelTA) - A delegation of Serbia’s Defense Ministry arrived in Belarus on a visit on 28 January, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Defense Ministry.
"Belarusian and Serbian military will discuss topical issues of the military and political situation, the status and prospects of bilateral military cooperation," the press service said.
The Serbian delegation is headed by Milan Konjikovac, the head of the department of international military cooperation. At the talks Belarus will be represented by Oleg Voinov, the head of the international military cooperation department – aide to the Defense Minister for international military cooperation.
During the visit representatives of the two ministries are expected to hold consultations and sign a military cooperation plan of action for 2016.
On 27 January the Serbian delegation is set to visit the general staff department and the staff and command department of the Military Academy and the research institute of the Belarusian Armed Forces.
