MINSK, 1 October (BelTA) – The Belarusian-Korean scientific forum will take place in Seoul on 10-11 November, BelTA learnt from the press service of the State Science and Technology Committee.
“The forum is aimed at developing bilateral cooperation in science and innovation, establishing new business contacts. Besides, the parties plan to look into promising cooperation areas and ways to advance technologies and science-intensive products of the two countries to third markets,” the press service said.
According to the committee, the program of the forum will include a plenary session entitled Science. Innovation. Manufacturing, as well as scientific sections (information and communication technologies, new materials, biotechnologies). Participants and guests of the forum will visit scientific and manufacturing organizations and universities.
The forum is organized by the Ministry of Science, ICT and Future Planning of the Republic of Korea, the National Research Foundation of Korea, the State Science and Technology Committee of Belarus, the Belarusian National Technical University, the Belarusian-Korean Center on Cooperation in Education, Science and Technology.
