Saudi Arabia interested in strengthening cooperation with Belarus

MINSK, 9 February (BelTA) - Representatives of the Belarusian National Center for Marketing met with Commercial Attaché from the Saudi General Authority of Foreign Trade in Moscow Osama Alharbi to discuss ways of intensifying trade and economic cooperation between Belarus and Saudi Arabia, BelTA learned from the National Center for Marketing.

Osama Alharbi expressed interest in studying the potential of economic cooperation between Belarus and Saudi Arabia and expanding trade flows between the countries. The Belarusian side expressed readiness to provide assistance in the study of the Belarusian market and presented specific proposals in terms of market research, a webinar presentation of export opportunities of Belarusian enterprises, in particular manufacturers of farm machines.

The parties discussed the possibility of establishing cooperation between the National Center for Marketing and Saudi Arabia partners in terms of organization of business bilateral events, and organization of Belarus’ exposition at Foodex Saudi in Riyadh in September.
