MINSK, 6 October (BelTA) – Manufacturers of Russia’s Voronezh Oblast plan to supply import-substituting goods to Belarus via Belarusian Universal Commodity Exchange (BUCE), BelTA learned from BUCE’s press service.

The agreement on the use of Belarusian Universal Commodity Exchange to supply Belarus with import-substituting products made in Voronezh Oblast was reached following a business meeting with Voronezh entrepreneurs at the Minsk office of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

For example, OOO Delta-Pack plans to sell via the BUCE’s import substitution mechanism a wide range of packaging materials for food, household chemicals and animal care products and also polyethylene film for printing and lamination. Demand for the products made in Voronezh Oblast is high. This category of goods accounts for a significant share of transactions concluded at BUCE.

OOO Russian Crane Machines also announced the intention to submit its lifting and transport equipment to the BUCE’s electronic catalog. The electric bridge cranes produced by this company will be purchased by BUCE-accredited construction organizations and enterprises of the industrial sector.

OOO NPO PerfoGrad, one of leading manufacturers of perforated metal sheets for mechanical engineering and construction in Voronezh Oblast, also shows interest in working in the Belarusian market through the commodity exchange. The company already exports its products to the EAEU countries, and in the summer of 2022 opened an official representative office in Belarus. The company considers the BUCE as an additional sales channel and a source of relevant price information.
