MOSCOW, 24 January (BelTA) – Sibiar, a large plant producing household aerosol products, perfumes and cosmetics in Russia, is set to increase the purchase of tinned iron from a Belarusian plant, the press service of the Belarusian embassy in Russia told BelTA following the visit of Ambassador Dmitry Krutoi to the plant.

According to the plant management, 30% of its production is exported to Belarus. “In late 2022, the company purchased a trial batch of tinned iron from the Miory metal-rolling plant (Belarus) for the production of aerosol cans. The quality of the Belarusian metal completely satisfied the Russian partners, and now we are working on the issue of increasing supplies. The Union State industrial cooperation is in action,” the diplomatic mission said.

During his working trip to Novosibirsk Oblast on 23-24 January Dmitry Krutoi also visited the trading house MTZ-Sibir. “The trading house features more than 100 modifications of tractors in more than 200 variants. Each modification is developed taking into account specific climatic zones and operating conditions. All BELARUS tractors have wide opportunities for coupling with mounted and trailed equipment from other manufacturers,” the press service said.

On 24 January the ambassador also visited Sibelektroprivod factory, which is the largest manufacturer of medium power traction electric machines in the Ural-Siberian region. The company has a long and successful experience of cooperation with BelAZ. “Electric drives for dump trucks with a capacity of 130 and 220 tonnes have proven themselves with the consumers,” the embassy said.

The day before the head of the diplomatic mission held talks with Governor of Novosibirsk Oblast Andrei Travnikov, Novosibirsk Mayor Anatoly Lokot, visited the Siberian branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences to meet with its Chairman Valentin Parmon.
