MINSK, 24 May (BelTA) – Russia’s Karelia is interested in supplies of Belarusian raw materials for the pulp and paper mill, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Forestry Ministry.
While in Karelia, the delegation of the Forestry Ministry headed by Forestry Minister Aleksandr Kulik and acting Minister of Natural Resources and Environment of Karelia Alexei Pavlov paid a visit to the Kondopoga pulp and paper mill. The company employs about 3,000 specialists. The annual volume of processing reaches 2,5 million cubic meters of balance.
According to the Forestry Ministry, the company is interested in the Belarusian raw materials. At a meeting with heads of group of companies and the Kondopoga pulp and paper mill, the parties discussed the possibility of expanding cooperation.
The mill buys cardboard for shells and pulp from Belarus.
