MINSK, 17 November (BelTA) – Matters related to the establishment of joint ventures and new partnerships were discussed during a meeting between Belarus’ Deputy Industry Minister Alexander Ogorodnikov and Deputy Governor of Russia’s Altai Region Viktor Meshcheryakov, BelTA learned from the press service of the Industry Ministry.
“The meeting of the bilateral commission for the cooperation between Belarus and Altai Region discussed collaboration in setting up joint ventures, building new partnerships, promoting supplies of agricultural products, road building, forestry, passenger and other special-purpose equipment, and also bolstering ties in agriculture,” the press service said.
The delegation of Altai Region visited such enterprises as Amkodor and Minsk Tractor Works as part of their official visit to Belarus.
The trade between Belarus and Altai Region has been growing strongly. This year, Belarus has boosted its exports of machinery and equipment for harvesting crops, materials for tires, timber products, meat and textiles.
