MINSK, 22 April (BelTA) – Russian customers have gotten used to the high quality of Belarusian products, Director for Cooperation with Government Bodies at Russia’s X5 Retail Group Stanislav Naumov told media on 22 April ahead of a meeting of trade representatives with Belarusian cheese makers in the Trade Ministry of Belarus.
“We have been cooperating (with Belarusian producers – BelTA’s note) for more than 20 years. Over the years Made in Belarus has developed into one of the most attractive brands for Russian consumers. Our customers have already gotten used to the high quality of Belarusian products and their reasonable prices,” noted Stanislav Naumov.
Trade Minister Vladimir Koltovich, who is attending the meeting, noted that today the parties are expected to consider the rules to access Russian retail networks and the requirements they have towards manufacturers. The meeting will also highlight the issues related to logistics and promotional materials.
