MOSCOW, 28 February (BelTA) – Buses made by the Belarusian automobile engineering company MAZ are reliable and safe, BelTA learned from the letter sent by Mayor of Saransk Piotr Tultayev to Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Russia Igor Petrishenko.
According to the press service of the Embassy of Belarus in Russia, Saransk bought 50 MAZ buses in February in anticipation of the world football championship that will take place in Russia in 2018.
In his letter Piotr Tultayev emphasizes that the vehicles were delivered on time and in full. He is sincerely grateful to Belarus for the buses that meet all the modern requirements of mass transit system operators.
According to the letter, MAZ buses have been used in the city of Saransk since 2011 and have become recognized by the government of Russia’s Republic of Mordovia and passengers as safe and comfortable passenger transport.
Piotr Tultayev believes that using these buses for passenger transportation in Saransk during the 2018 world football championship will definitely positively contribute to the image of Minsk Automobile Plant (MAZ trademark) among the population of Mordovia, participants and guests of the championship.
