MOSCOW, 26 March (BelTA) – Russia will prolong the state loan granted to Belarus, BelTA learned from Prime Minister of Russia Dmitry Medvedev on 26 March.

“There is another financial matter. It concerns the state financial loan for the Republic of Belarus. We have agreed that we will help them in this complicated situation. In essence we will prolong the existing lending commitments,” he said. Dmitry Medvedev went on saying: “We have been helping our partners and will continue doing so in the future.”
