MOSCOW, 22 June (BelTA) - The Russian food quality watchdog Rosselkhoznadzor has lifted the ban on the import of Belarusian dairy products in containers of more than 2.5 liters and approved the list of suppliers, BelTA informs.
“Rosselkhoznadzor informs that its direction of 4 June 2018 is canceled in part of the restrictions on the supplies of products from the Republic of Belarus,” reads the letter the agency sent to its territorial departments on 22 June.
The roadmap allows several Belarusian companies to resume export to Russia. Those are the dairy plants in Baranovichi and Lyakhovichi, the Volkovysk-based dairy company Bellakt, Mozyr Dairy Products, OAO Turov Dairy Industrial Complex, and OAO Lida Milk Plant
On 9 June Rosselkhoznadzor and the Department for Veterinary and Food Control of the Agriculture and Food Ministry of Belarus agreed on the roadmap to lift mutual restrictions on the supplies of dairy products in 2018.
