MINSK, 24 March (BelTA) – Belarusian Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Yury Ambrazevich met with United Nations Resident Coordinator in Belarus Joanna Kazana-Wisniowiecki on 24 March, the ministry’s press service told BelTA.
Yury Ambrazevich and Joanna Kazana-Wisniowiecki talked over the state and prospects of Belarus’ cooperation with the United Nations Organization for the sake of resolving problems of economic development, assisting with social progress, and raising living standards.
Yury Ambrazevich stressed the importance of improving mechanisms of interaction with a view to securing targeted and substantial aid to the Belarusian government from the United Nations Organization with a focus on practical interests of the relevant ministries and government agencies as much as possible.
Apart from that, the sides discussed the provision of humanitarian aid to the Ukrainian refugees coming to Belarus.
