MINSK, 12 March (BelTA) – Belarusian Deputy Economy Minister Anzhelika Nikitina met with CAMCE Director General Wang Yuhang and Director of the Jintai Institute of Culture and Economics Cai Chuanqing in the Economy Ministry the other day. Prospects of Belarus-China cooperation in healthcare were discussed during the meeting, the ministry’s press service told BelTA.
The sides discussed prospects of promoting traditional Chinese medicine in Belarus and the creation of a traditional Chinese medicine center in the China-Belarus industrial park Great Stone. The Chinese side also expressed interest in breeding medicinal herbs in Belarus’ territory, production of medicinal drugs and preventive remedies out of Belarusian herbs, and their consequent export to China.
China CAMC Engineering Company (CAMCE) is a daughter enterprise of the China National Machinery Industry Corporation (Sinomach). CAMCE specializes in general contracts for international projects, domestic and international investments and trade.
The Jintai Institute of Culture and Economics is an agency in charge of providing social services. It has been established upon decision of the Ministry of Civil Affairs of the People’s Republic of China. The agency is supposed to ensure continuity and development of the traditional Chinese culture.
