MINSK, 11 October (BelTA) – Some progress has been made in efforts to get rid of roaming charges in mobile communications between Belarus and Russia, BelTA learned from State Secretary of the Union State of Belarus and Russia Grigory Rapota on 11 October.
The relevant ministries are in consultations about the matter now. “In response to our questions they’ve said they’ve started moving,” said the official.
Grigory Rapota believes that the cancellation of roaming charges for mobile calls inside Russia would help. “It will create some precedent we can follow,” the official was convinced.
