MINSK, 7 December (BelTA) – Ten organizations of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus (NASB) will present their latest R&D products at the national expo and fair of Belarus in Turkmenistan. The expo is scheduled to take place in Ashgabat on 11-13 December, the NASB press service told BelTA.
Taking part in the expo will be the New Materials Chemistry Institute, the Physics Technology Institute, the enterprise Geoinformation Systems, the Biophysics and Cell Engineering Institute, and the Physical Organic Chemistry Institute.
The collective display of NASB R&D products will occupy 70m2. It will feature about 40 exhibits demonstrating water purification technologies, crush mills, products for agriculture, an unmanned aerial vehicle system, and the Belarusian space system for the remote sensing of the Earth.
Turkmenistan will mark the 20th anniversary of the country’s neutrality in 2015. NASB’s participation in the expo will be important from the point of view of advancing cooperation with research and manufacturing institutions in Turkmenistan for the sake of planning joint activities, including the implementation of contracts, said the press service of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus.
