MINSK, 11 May (BelTA) – The construction of the Garlyk mining and processing factory will be finished on schedule. The statement was made by Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko after negotiations with Turkmenistan President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov on 11 May, BelTA has learned.
Alexander Lukashenko noted: “There is no doubt that the construction of the Garlyk mining and processing factory remains the key joint project. The Belarusian side pays top-priority attention to the implementation of the project.” The head of state said that during the talks the sides had agreed to commission the factory on schedule.
In turn, the Turkmenistan President assured that they plan to commission the mining and processing factory in 2017.
