MINSK, 30 January (BelTA) – Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus Viktor Denisenko took part in an exhibition of agricultural products and folk craft goods in Tajikistan, representatives of the Belarusian embassy told BelTA.
A number of Tajikistan government officials, representatives of the diplomatic corps, scientists, farmers from several regions of the country attended the expo.
The Belarusian ambassador met with top officials of the government agencies. Further expansion of Belarus-Tajikistan bilateral cooperation was discussed.
A presentation of vehicles made by the Belarusian tractor factory MTZ and the grain harvester GS-200 made by Gomselmash was arranged during the expo.
Apart from that, negotiations between the ambassador and the management of Tajik agricultural companies took place. Possible sales of Belarusian agricultural machines to Tajikistan were discussed.
