MINSK, 13 June (BelTA) – Polish investors show an increasing interest in running projects in Belarus, BelTA has learned from the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Ways to expand Belarus-Poland cooperation in trade and economy and other matters were discussed at a meeting of Belarus’ Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Evgeny Shestakov with a Polish delegation led by Deputy Director of the EU Economic Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Konrad Pawlik. The parties discussed a broad range of issues of Belarus-Poland relations and praised the progress made in bilateral economic contacts and mutual trade. They also pointed to an increasing interest of Polish investors in implementing projects in Belarus.
The parties agreed that it is necessary to improve the quality and efficiency of the bilateral contacts and discussed a schedule of joint economic events.
