MINSK, 28 January (BelTA) – Belarusian Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Valentin Rybakov and Minister in charge of Foreign Trade of the Kingdom of Morocco Mohammed Abbou discussed the need to set up an intergovernmental commission for trade and economic cooperation, BelTA learned from the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
A Belarusian delegation led by Valentin Rybakov visited Morocco on 27-28 January. The delegation also comprised representatives of the Belarusian companies Minsk Tractor Works (MTZ trademark), Minsk Automobile Plant (MAZ trademark), and Belarusian Autoworks (BelAZ trademark).
Valentin Rybakov and Mohammed Abbou discussed a wide range of matters of trade and economic cooperation, mutual investments, and exchanges of business delegations. The parties stressed the need to sign major trade and economic agreements, including those providing for the establishment of a joint intergovernmental commission for trade and economic cooperation.
Valentin Rybakov also met with Head of the Foreign Affairs and National Defense Committee of the House of Representatives of Morocco Mehdi Bensaid to talk over matters of interparliamentary cooperation, including exchanges of visits and development of the legal framework.
