VITEBSK, 17 July (BelTA) – Plans have been made to build logistics centers in Guangdong Province in order to facilitate the delivery of Belarusian products onto the Chinese market, BelTA learned from Wang Enpei, Director General of Guangzhou Xinjinlai Import and Export Trade Company.
Wang Enpei said that an existing logistics center in Guangzhou already handles Belarusian products. “We intend to build similar facilities in other cities of the province. The logistics center also advertises Belarusian goods in China on various platforms,” said the executive.
Wang Enpei praised the quality of Belarusian products, which sell well in China, this is why the interest in cooperation is mutual.
Vladimir Mashero, First Deputy Chairman of the Agriculture and Food Committee of the Vitebsk Oblast Executive Committee, said that work is in progress to sign contracts with Chinese partners on selling Belarusian products on the Chinese market. The types of Belarusian products China may need have been determined already.
Representatives of the Vitebsk Oblast administration met with the Chinese delegation led by Wang Enpei at premises of the Vitebsk Oblast Executive Committee. It is not the first time the Chinese businessman has come to Belarus. The delegation also included businessmen, who are interested in cooperation in civil engineering, manufacturing of LED products and medical equipment.
Agreements of intent were signed during the previous visit to Vitebsk. A Belarusian delegation visited China after that. Signing a contract on selling products made by the Vitebsk broiler poultry factory Ganna in China is one of the purposes of the current visit.
The visit is also expected to focus on investments in projects for building dairy farms, pig farms, duck farms and for reconstructing the meat-processing industry, explained Vladimir Mashero.
