MOSCOW, 4 October (BelTA) – A modern service center of the Belarusian automobile engineering company BelAZ will be built in the Republic of Khakassia, Russian Federation, BelTA learned from the Khakassia government press service after Head of the Republic of Khakassia Viktor Zimin held a government conference on 4 October to discuss the development of aftersales service of mining vehicles.
Over 270 BelAZ trucks are used for mining operations in Khakassia. However, their owners sometimes run into problems with aftersales service and repair. Participants of the government conference agreed that the region could use a specialized service center in view of the rising production volume and respectively the rising demand for more BelAZ vehicles.

BelAZ will be able to service and repair a lot of mining vehicles in Khakassia while the buyers of BelAZ trucks will get guaranteed quality service. The head of the republic thanked the presidents of Belarus and Russia for supporting such initiatives.
Head of the Krasnoyarsk branch of the Embassy of Belarus in Russia Viktor Shchetko, BelAZ Director General Piotr Parkhomchik, OOO Krasnoyarsk BelAZ Service Company Director General Vasily Trigubenko, and heads of major industrial companies took part in the government conference.
Piotr Parkhomchik said: “We are ready to lay down the foundation for a new approach to the aftersales service of our vehicles. The main purpose of the company is to bring our products closer to customers and provide all the accompanying services. Apart from that, we pay close attention to the implementation of social projects in the regions.”
An agreement on cooperation between the Khakassia Republic government and Krasnoyarsk BelAZ Service Company was signed during the government conference. On 4 October Viktor Zimin, Viktor Shchetko, Piotr Parkhomchik, and Vasily Trigubenko took part in the groundbreaking ceremony at the construction site where the future BelAZ aftersales service center will rise.
