MINSK, 22 August (BelTA) – A Belarus-China transboundary digital trade forum is supposed to take place in the Chinese city of Qingdao on 10 September, representatives of the Chinese embassy in Belarus told BelTA.
The forum’s organization and other things were discussed as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to China Kirill Rudy met with Deputy Secretary General of the China Association of Trade in Services (CATIS) Tian Guofeng on 22 August. The sides discussed avenues of mutually beneficial cooperation and ways to export more Belarusian services to China in the area of tourism, healthcare, culture, transportation by road, and other promising areas.
Tian Guofeng confirmed the association will participate in the Belarus-China transboundary digital trade forum. Interest was expressed in inviting partners and members of the association for the sake of practical discussion of cooperation with representatives of the Belarusian private sector.
