MOSCOW, 22 July (BelTA) – There are plans to set up a plant to assemble Belarusian tractors in Belgorod Oblast, BelTA learnt from the department of economic development of the Russian region.

On 22 July a delegation of OAO Minsk Tractor Works led by Director General Fyodor Domotenko paid a visit to Belgorod Oblast to discuss tractor assembling jointly with Metalloinvest.

Following the talks the parties signed a memorandum of understanding to set up assembling of Belarusian tractors with a capacity varying from 150hp to 400hp in the volume of over 100 items per year.

The parties also discussed the production of attached implements for the needs of the construction and utilities sectors.
