MOSCOW, 13 January (BelTA) – Omsk businessmen are planning to organize a permanent exhibition of Belarusian products at the Regional Agency for Advertising and Exhibition Activities, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Embassy in Russia.
The project has been spearheaded by member of the Omsk Oblast Legislative Assembly Viktor Zharkov. He believes that the organization of such exhibitions in Omsk will lead to the establishment of joint Omsk-Belarus enterprises in the Russian region, and local manufacturers will get an opportunity to showcase their products in Minsk.
The joint venture agreement between the Minsk trading house located in Omsk and the Belarusian Trade, Exhibition, Information and Marketing Center was signed in late 2014. The joint enterprise will organize exhibitions of Belarusian products in Omsk and showcase goods of Omsk manufacturers in Belarus.
“During the first stage of the project, some 50 Belarusian enterprises will present their textile, industrial, and footwear products in Omsk. We will provide the facilities, personnel, and deliver the goods. Then the Belarusian side will help us organize exhibitions of our products in Belarus,” Viktor Zharkov explained.
