Participation of Belarusian companies in Polish tenders discussed

MINSK, 7 April (BelTA) – The participation of Belarusian companies in tenders held in different regions of Poland was discussed during the visit of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Poland Alexander Averyanov to Lubusz Voivodeship, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

On 4-5 April, the Belarusian Ambassador met with Vice-Voivode of Lubusz Voivodeship Robert Paluch, Vice-Marshal Romuald Gawlik, President of Gorzow Wielkopolski Jacek Vujtitski, heads of the Western Chamber of Industry and Commerce and State Higher Vocational School, and Polish businessmen.

“The parties discussed prospects for bolstering the cooperation between Belarus and the Polish region in trade, investments, science, and culture. They also paid attention to the participation of Belarusian companies in tenders held at the regional level and the prospects for boosting the twinning ties between Belarus’ Gomel Oblast and Lubusz Voivodeship within the framework of the current agreement,” the press service said.

The sides agreed to exchange business delegations and organize the Days of Belarusian Economy in Lubusz Voivodeship in autumn 2016, the economic forum Belarus-Lubusz, and an expo of products of Belarusian enterprises.
