MINSK, 27 May (BelTA) – Pakistan is interested in the import of Bellegprom products, Chairman of Bellegprom Concern Nikolai Yefimchik said in an interview to Belarus One TV Channel, BelTA has learned.
“Pakistan has strong traditions in the light industry, especially in textile and leather processing, strong family traditions. They have a lot to learn from and to cooperate with. However, they are interested not only in supplying us with their products, but are also interested in our products,” Nikolai Yefimchik noted.
In his words, there are concrete agreements with one of Belarus’ leading footwear companies Belwest. The parties also agreed on the deliveries of yarn by Polesie Company. “There are agreements on the Baranovichi cotton association and Orsha Linen Factory. We have signed a number of memorandums. Today the bilateral framework contracts total nearly $13 million,” the chairman of the concern said.
