MINSK, 11 January (BelTA) – A Pakistan delegation has arrived in Belarus on a visit, the press service of the Belarusian Energy Ministry told BelTA.
The visit is scheduled for 11-14 January. The delegation is led by Pakistani Energy Minister Khurram Dastgir. The delegation also includes representatives of the Industry Ministry, the Economic Relations Ministry, and Trade Ministry of Pakistan.
The sixth session of the Belarus-Pakistan commission on trade and economic cooperation will take place during the Pakistani delegation’s visit to Minsk. Belarusian Energy Minister Viktor Karankevich is the co-chairman of the commission.
During the session the sides are expected to discuss matters of bilateral cooperation, including possible realization of joint projects in production sector, agriculture, pharmaceutics, science, education, and other spheres. A number of bilateral agreements are supposed to be signed.
While in Belarus the delegation is expected to visit the tractor manufacturer MTZ, the haul truck manufacturer BelAZ, and the Belarusian National Biotechnology Corporation.
