MINSK, 20 December (BelTA) – Belarus sells abroad more than 60% of its industrial products, Belarusian Deputy Prime Minister Vladimir Semashko said at a joint session of the Belarusian parliament on 20 December, BelTA has learned.
According to the deputy prime minister, Belarus has held critical positions in terms of merchandise export this year. The country exported 60.6% of its industrial products in January-October 2017.
“Economic recovery was primarily driven by an increase in sales. The growth rate of exports shows positive dynamics, rising from 118.3% in January 2017 to 122.6% in January-October 2017,” Vladimir Semashko said.
The exports of investment products surged by $740.7 million (36.9%) from January-October 2016.
