MINSK, 9 October (BelTA) – More than 60 Belarusian companies will participate in the China International Import Expo in Shanghai, Director of Belinterexpo Natalya Kurash said before a workshop "Effective work of Belarusian enterprises and companies in the Chinese market", BelTA has learned.
Every year Belarus tries to impress the visitors of the exhibition. "When one exhibition finishes, we start preparing for another. This year our exposition will be themed around ‘Belovezhskaya Pushcha’ and it will be presented in the light of the Year of Quality running currently in Belarus. The exposition will feature the unique nature and wonderful places of Belarus. Our enterprises will also surprise visitors with their new products," Natalya Kurash said.
The Belarusian enterprises will take samples of famous Belarusian brands to China. Belarus will present its exposition in national, grocery and high-tech pavilions. "We will surprise with Belarusian cuisine, national music, Belovezhskaya Pushcha, interesting content and, certainly, quality food. In the high-tech pavilion we will showcase the major organizations affiliated with the Industry Ministry, the National Academy of Sciences and the State Committee on Science and Technology. Business events will be also included in the exhibition's program," she explained.
A total of 60 enterprises from Belarus are expected to participate in the exhibition. The director added that many enterprises are interested in the exhibition, because it provides more opportunities to find reliable partners and present themselves. "The exhibition is an image-building event for Belarus. It draws visitors from almost all the provinces, all business communities of China and also form foreign countries. Last year we focused on the Days of the Region, during which we signed documents," she said.
The 7th edition of the China International Import Expo will be held in Shanghai on 5-10 November. The exhibition area will exceed 600,000 square meters. Last year, the exhibition was attended by over 3,400 participants from 154 countries.
