MINSK, 8 July (BelTA) – Over 30 companies are eager to become residents of the China-Belarus industrial park Great Stone, BelTA learned from Li Haixin, Director General of the private joint-stock company (SZAO) Industrial Park Development Company, on 8 July.
According to the head of the company in charge of developing the China-Belarus Industrial Park, more than 30 investors have expressed their strong interest in implementing their projects in the park. They have already signed agreements of intent with Industrial Park Development Company, noted Li Haixin. In his words, the companies will become the park’s residents on schedule. The executive underlined that the construction of the China-Belarus Industrial Park is fundamental for the enhancement of Belarus-China relations.
So far seven companies from China, Belarus, and Russia have been registered as residents of the China-Belarus industrial park Great Stone. As much as 350ha of the territory is being developed now. About $90 million has been invested in the project. There are plans to invest about $120 million next year.
