MINSK, 1 August (BelTA) – More than 20 agreements were concluded during the first international Belarus-Tajikistan-Afghanistan business forum held in Dushanbe as part of the international expo and fair Tajikistan 2017, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The Belarusian business delegation included representatives of the country’s flagship machine-building companies, such as BelAZ, MAZ, Amkodor, Gomselmash, BelOMA, and also Minskintercaps, Minsk Soft Drink Factory, and Pozhsnab. The delegation was led by Sergei Nebeshko, Deputy Chairman of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
The Afghan delegation comprised of representatives of more than 60 companies was headed by Khan Jan Alokozay, First Deputy Chairman of the Afghanistan Chamber of Commerce and Industries. Partaking in the events of the expo and fair on behalf of Tajikistan were members of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the National Association of Small and Medium Businesses, representatives of ministries and other public and private organizations.
The business forum participants signed over 20 documents, including contracts and agreements of intent.
Sergei Nebeshko also had a working meeting with the management of the Afghanistan Chamber of Commerce and Industries. The parties agreed to sign a cooperation agreement in Minsk in August 2017.
