Over 150 Belarusian companies to participate in Made in Belarus expo in Tashkent

MINSK, 12 September (BelTA) – Over 150 Belarusian companies will participate in the Made in Belarus expo, which is due to take place in Tashkent, Uzbekistan on 14-19 September, representatives of the expo organizing enterprise BelInterExpo of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry told BelTA.

A number of themed expositions will be offered to visitors of the Made in Belarus expo. Major Belarusian industrial companies will showcase samples of agricultural machines and utility vehicles, innovative electric buses, mining harvesters, and defense technology products. The expo will feature BelAZ haul trucks, innovative MTZ tractors, Gomselmash grain harvesters, cotton harvesters and harvesters able to gather in forage in extreme conditions. Grass mowers, hay balers, cattle feeders with digital control modules will be offered by Bobruiskagromash. Amkodor will present universal loaders while MAZ will put in the spotlight an automobile crane, a dump road train for carrying bulk cargo, and a low-floor bus. Belkommunmash will demonstrate the E433 Vitovt Max Electro bus, which combines the advantages of trolleybuses and regular buses. The innovative bus is silent, can travel for 15km without charging, comes equipped with CCTV cameras, GPS navigation, and climate control.

The expo will feature a broad range of components, details, and fabrication equipment for various branches of the production sector. Mogilevliftmash will demonstrate a deluxe passenger lift with the carrying capacity of 400kg. Microprocessor-powered lift control stations will be showcased as well. Belarusian companies are ready to also offer modern domestic appliances for homes and offices.

Enterprises of the Belarusian state petrochemical concern Belneftekhim will present samples of petrochemical and chemical products, which are exported to more than 100 countries. Major Belarusian light industry companies will present fashionable collections of everyday, business, and sportswear, home textiles, natural leather footwear, and special gear.

Belarusian Forestry Company will present insulating fiberboards. Beryozastroymaterialy will offer a choice of ceramic tiles, Rechitsadrev – cabinet furniture for home and office. Neman Glassworks will present products made of regular glass and crystal glass.

The expo will also feature a broad choice of Belarusian food such as cheese, butter, baby formula, quark cheese, gourmet foods made of beef, pork, and poultry meat, tinned fish, vegetable and fruit preserves, pickles, marshmallows, chocolate, handmade sweets, wines, and strong liquors.

Organizations of the Belarusian Education Ministry and the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus will present over 100 R&D products. The Belarusian State University will showcase a series of veterinary biologic drugs, original Belarusian medications for treating malignant tumors. Ultrasound technologies and medical equipment for cardiology, oncology, and dentistry will be offered by the R&D park Polytechnic of the Belarusian National Technical University. Smart biomedical systems will be revealed by the Informatics Institute of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus. Products made by the Belarusian State University of Informatics and Radioelectronics and the R&D Center for Multifunctional Unmanned Systems of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus will be on display, too.

The Belarusian State University, the Yanka Kupala State University of Grodno, the Belarusian State University of Informatics and Radioelectronics, and other leading Belarusian education institutions will offer educational programs for foreign students.

Opportunities for recreation and rehabilitation in Belarus, all kinds of sightseeing tours will be presented during the expo in Tashkent. The National Tourism Agency will present excursions to historical places of interests and the forthcoming international sport events – the 2nd European Games Minsk 2019 and the 2021 IIHF World Championship.

The expo has been organized by the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry with assistance of the Foreign Trade Ministry of Uzbekistan, government agencies, embassies, and business associations of the two countries.
