Omsk Carbon Mogilev to start production in July-August 2016

MOGILEV, 22 January (BelTA) - Omsk Carbon Mogilev plans to start its production in July-August 2016, director for foreign economic relations of OOO Omsktekhuglerod Alexei Kiselev said at a meeting in the Mogilev Oblast Executive Committee, BelTA informs.

According to Alexei Kiselev, the company is expected to reach its capacity production in 2019. It will produce up to 200 tonnes of technical carbon a year. “We should understand that this is a sophisticated product and needs adjustment for every company that is going to use it. It also requires a big number of tests,” he noted.

Thanks to the implementation of the project, of Mogilev Oblast would get considerable investment in its economy, i.e. over Br1.3 trillion. The company will be able to provide Belarus’ rubber technical industry, including OAO Belshina, with technical carbon.

According to Alexei Kiselev, the latest technology is used in the construction of the plant, which guarantees eco-friendly production. The project will bring nearly 450 new jobs to Mogilev.
