MINSK, 11 June (BelTA) – The number of residents of the Chinese-Belarusian industrial park Great Stone will reach 40 by the end of 2018, head of the park’s administration Alexander Yaroshenko said in an interview to Belarus 1 TV channel, BelTA has learned.
In his words, at present there are 35 residents in the park. There are agreements with investors which makes it possible to speak about the number of park residents reaching 40 in the near future. The second production building may be constructed in mid 2018. It is already in demand.
Alexander Yaroshenko added that it is expected that ten companies will launch their production or services by the end of the year. China Merchants Group, which is engaged in integrated logistics, has already been providing its warehouses and product transportation services. It is planned that one Chinese and two Belarusian companies will be the first to launch the manufacturing of their products.
