VITEBSK, 21 October (BelTA) - The Novopolotsk economic forum 2015 will gather businessmen from Belarus, Russia and the EU countries, BelTA learnt from the Novopolotsk City Hall.

On 29-30 October Novopolotsk will host its third economic forum with the participation of foreign partners and potential investors. Attending the forum this time will be delegations of businessmen from Poland, Serbia, the Czech Republic, Russia. Response to the invitation is still expected from Bulgaria, Lithuania, Latvia and a number of other states. Among the guests of the forum will also be representatives of the local authorities, the Vitebsk Office of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the regional chambers of commerce and industries, the Polotsk State University and businessmen of Novopolotsk.

The event will feature a business matchmaking session, an exhibition-presentation of the leading producers of Novopolotsk, Polotsk and Verkhnedvinsk, a presentation of Novopolotsk’s investment potential and scientific projects of the Polotsk State University.

According to the organizers, the economic forum is an efficient platform to advance goods and services to the foreign and domestic markets, develop and support small business, establish and strengthen economic and business contacts, and, of course, attract investment.

The forum is organized by the Novopolotsk City Hall and the Vitebsk Office of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
