BREST, 23 June (BelTA) – A new resident company has been registered in the free economic zone (FEZ) Brest, representatives of the FEZ Brest administration told BelTA.
The Belarusian capital company Avantazh Prodakshn intends to make cabinet furniture, furniture parts and fittings. The company intends to invest over €1 million in the implementation of the project and create at least 30 jobs. The manufacturing facilities will be located in the area near the Brest construction materials factory and will occupy a land plot as large as 3 hectares.
In line with the stated business plan the company will focus on designing this year and on construction and equipment acquisition in 2020-2021. The company is expected to reach the designed output capacity of Br5.3 million in 2025.
OOO Avantazh Prodakshn is the fourth commercial entity registered in FEZ Brest this year. At present the free economic zone is home to 74 enterprises from 20 countries. In January-May 2020 the resident companies made Br826.8 million worth of products, with the output growth rate at 102.8%. Merchandise export totaled $231 million in January-April, 99.5% as against the same period of last year.
