MINSK, 2 November (BelTA) – The China-Belarus Industrial Park Great Stone has registered a new resident company – OOO Smartbiotech, BelTA learned from the press service of the industrial park.
The company will produce laboratory reagents. The project involves the manufacture of diagnostic test kits, including for the detection of coronavirus, the development and pilot production of an automatic robotic station for the extraction of nucleic acids, as well as research solutions in this area.
The company’s products will be used in medicine and clinical diagnostics, veterinary medicine and research.
The China-Belarus Industrial Park Great Stone is a special economic zone located 25 km from Minsk. Resident companies from 14 countries are registered in there. The industrial park has a focus on the following areas of business: mechanical engineering, electronics and telecommunications, biotechnology, pharmaceutics, new materials, logistics, e-commerce, storage and processing of large amounts of data.
