MINSK, 18 February (BelTA) – An innovative cluster may be set up at premises of the Belarusian microelectronics manufacturer MPOVT in Minsk, BelTA learned from Andrei Gayev, Chairman of the State Property Committee of Belarus, on 18 February.
“There is interest in the territory of the Minsk computer factory. The project to create an innovative cluster over there is being discussed now,” noted Andrei Gayev.
The Chairman of the State Property Committee of Belarus explained that the Hi-Tech Park is supposed to coordinate the operation of the cluster. “Agencies concerned are discussing the project. We hope that in the near future we will be able to submit concrete proposals on developing these territories,” stated Andrei Gayev.
BelTA reported earlier that part of the territory occupied by the Belarusian microelectronics manufacturer MPOVT was made available for an investment project in 2015.
