“We have agreed with Geely to launch the production of engines at the BelGee factory. We also plan to start manufacturing exhaust systems, seats, accumulators, and other details. All these things will be produced at the existing facilities and the ones to be built,” Vitaly Vovk remarked.

This is a driver that helps create jobs in many sectors.

BelGee intends to roll out 60,000 cars per annum at the first stage. “The company is ready to consider expanding the production up to 120,000. Now this will be an average-size factory,” Vitaly Vovk added. The share of local content in BelGee products must reach at least 50% in 2018.
