MINSK, 16 June (BelTA) – A new resident company was registered in the China-Belarus industrial park Great Stone on 16 June, BelTA has learned.
OOO Great Stone Technologies (People’s Republic of China) will focus on R&D in the sphere of driverless transport. The company intends to cooperate with the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus and with Belarusian mechanical engineering organizations. The project’s implementation includes software development and the testing of driverless systems.
The China-Belarus industrial park Great Stone is a special economic zone with a special legal regime. It is located 25km away from Minsk. The industrial park is home to 71 resident companies from 13 countries. The park’s priority development areas include mechanical engineering, electronics and telecommunications, biotechnologies, pharmaceutics, new materials, logistics, digital commerce, big data storage and processing.
