MTZ opens new dealer center in Russia’s Dagestan

MINSK, 23 March (BelTA) - Minsk Tractor Works (MTZ trademark) has opened a dealer center in Dagestan, BelTA learned from the press service of the Industry Ministry.

"MTZ continues to expand its service network abroad. Recently MTZ has opened a new center in Dagestan, the Russian Federation, to provide maintenance and repair services and to promote Belarus tractors in the local market,” the ministry explained.

There was no official dealership in Dagestan before. "This is why the initiative of local businessman Sherifulla Akayev to open the maintenance center for MTZ tractors at Dagselmash company in Buinaksk District was supported by MTZ," the ministry stressed.

MTZ representatives visited Dagestan. After an inspection of Dagselmash to assess the premises, the equipment and the skills of local personnel MTS issued the enterprise a certificate confirming the official status of the dealer center of the MTZ-Stavropol trading house. "This trading house represents the interests of MTZ in the North Caucasus Federal District of the Russian Federation. At the first phase the dealership in Buinaksk District will provide tractor repair services and in the future may sell new equipment,” the Belarusian Industry Ministry informed.

The MTZ-Stavropol trading house plans to supply Belarus tractors to the dealer center for storing and further selling. Dagselmash is preparing an exhibition platform for the promotion of Belarusian tractors. MTZ is set to provide assistance to the Dagestani dealer center with training of specialists.

The discussion of the prospects of the development of cooperation with Dagestan will be continued during the international expo Belagro 2015 in Minsk. The Dagestani delegation is set to visit the largest Belarusian agricultural forum and hold talks at Minsk Tractor Works.
