MINSK, 7 December (BelTA) – Oil pumping in a section of the Druzhba oil pipeline system has been suspended due to the need to transport oil from Odessa to Mozyr Oil Refinery, BelTA learned from Aleksandr Tishchenko, Press Secretary of the Belarusian state petrochemical concern Belneftekhim, on 7 December.
The official said: “We are talking about spot deliveries of Azeri Light oil (80,000 tonnes in November and December each). With current settings the use of light oil represents an effective way to increase the output of light oil products.”

On 9 November oil transportation in the Mikhalki-Brody section of the Druzhba oil pipeline system was suspended for four days in order to pump oil from the Ukrainian port Yuzhny to Mozyr Oil Refinery.
