GOMEL, 14 August (BelTA) – OAO Mozyr Oil Refinery has started exporting bitumen to Poland and the UK, the company’s representatives told BelTA.
The company is busy racking up its output and export. In July the company’s bitumen output rose by 30% to a record high of 83,000 tonnes. The result was achieved despite limited supplies of raw materials in Q1 2020.
In 2019 Mozyr Oil Refinery exported 518,000 tonnes of bitumen. Cameroon was added to the list of export destinations last year. This year the company has shipped batches of bitumen to Poland and the UK. Demand for Mozyr Oil Refinery’s bitumen has increased in Ukraine where considerable funds are channeled into road construction.
Mozyr Oil Refinery was commissioned in 1975. It was converted into a public joint-stock company (OAO) in 1994. The company specializes in refining oil and making and selling oil products.
