MINSK, 17 March (BelTA) – Matters related to the setting up of the Belarusian-Russian fund of venture capital investment will be discussed in Moscow on 17 March, BelTA learnt from the press service of the State Science and Technology Committee.
“The Belarusian delegation led by Chairman of the State Science and Technology Committee Alexander Shumilin is in Moscow on a visit. The Belarusian representatives are set to hold talks with the leadership of the Russian Venture Company to discuss the foundation of the investment association Russian-Belarusian Fund of Venture Capital Investment, mechanisms for the implementation and financing of innovative projects, cooperation in developing a system of venture capital financing in Belarus,” the press service noted.
Apart from that, Alexander Shumilin is expected to attend the 69th meeting of the CIS Economic Council which is due to consider the progress made in the implementation of the CIS interstate program of innovation cooperation through 2020 and an action plan on its implementation. The Chairman of the State Science and Technology Committee will also speak at the CIS International Economic Forum “25 Years Together: New Formats of Cooperation”.
