MINSK, 8 August (BelTA) – Chairman of the Council of the Republic of the National Assembly of Belarus Mikhail Myasnikovich met with representatives of the Indian company Lok-Beta Pharmaceuticals Private Limited, the press service of the upper chamber of the Belarusian parliament told BelTA.
During the meeting among other things the sides discussed the organization of the work of the joint venture set up by Lok-Beta Pharmaceuticals Private Limited and Belmedpreparaty in the town of Skidel. The sides confirmed the previous commitments on building the enterprise in two stages: designing and design approval in 2016 and the enterprise’s commissioning in 2017.
Besides, it was noted that at the same time the Belarusian Healthcare Ministry will take care of registering the medications that will be made in Belarus with assistance of Lok-Beta Pharmaceuticals Private Limited.
The Chairman of the Council of the Republic of the National Assembly of Belarus drew attention of representatives of the Indian company to the need to step up cooperation in making medications, in particular, by expanding the lineup of medications made in Belarus.
