CHISINAU, 19 April (BelTA) – Moldova wants to set up an integrated pharmaceutical company in Belarus, BelTA learned from the Belarusian Health Minister Valery Malashko.
“We are now talking not only about the one-way movement of medicines to Moldova. There is a Moldovan company operating in Belarus, which packages medicines. We are also mulling over an investment project and the construction of an integrated Moldovan pharmaceutical company in Belarus,” the minister said.
In his words, Moldova has an interest in importing Belarus-made high-quality medicines. The price for the Belarusian products is also attractive. The sides signed $3 million in deals during the business forum, which will help boost the exports of medicines to Moldova, Valery Malashko said.
As for other avenues of cooperation in this field, Belarus wants to ramp up the exports of services and train specialists together with Moldova.
